The “Run Above The Clouds 10 km” offers a beautifully scenic route through the picturesque Suches Valley on a challenging out and back route. This run will be held in conjunction with the Indian Summer Festival. The one mile fun run will be along a generally flat route and will be open for those of all ages. Come join us for a great time and a great challenge.
The chosen route is the same as last year and involves county roads and a brief stretch on the State Highway. It is an out and back route with beautiful scenery along the entire length. Water stations will be provided and fruit and refreshments will be located at the Start / Finish line.
The race will be Saturday October the 3th, 2009 at the Woody Gap School on State Highway 60 in Suches. (just north of the HWY. 180 intersection).
The 10 KM. race will begin promptly at 9:00 AM followed by the one mile fun run at 9:10 AM. Race day sign in for both events begins at 7:30 AM. There is no penalty for race day registration, however we encourage everyone to print the application and mail it in advance. We thank all of our sponsors for their continued support!
